After leaving a toxic relationship over twenty years ago, she found faith and a new life in Jesus. She went on to write her memoir and began creating artwork featuring Collections with Angels, Whimsical Grace, Harvest Heritage, and Southwestern landscapes, as well as pottery crosses and hearts.

Additionally, Allison co-developed a course designed to help people untangle their trauma and find freedom from their past. Most recently, she launched her third book, A Resilient Faith (Revised and Expanded 2nd Edition).
